Warhammer 40K Baby Onesie

Warhammer transcends age and gender! Tonight was just a 40K kinda night, I guess! This onesie is for a little warrior named Atticus. Way to go Mom and Dad!

Warhammer 40K Aquilla

Even the ladies like Warhammer 40K. This is the Imperial Eagle or Aquilla.

Warhammer 40K Tanith T-shirt

This shirt I botched the first go. It was meant for a Dark Green Tee and I began to press it on a Black. After only a second or two the image was already stuck to the shirt. Now, I have an extra shirt. Whoops!

Warhammer 40K Raven Guard T-shirt

Tonight's workload was all 40K related. This is a Raven Guard emblem on a Large Black.

Post T-Day T-Shirts and Cyber Monday

Well the holiday is over. Left-overs still remain and I have taken entirely way too many turkey naps. Now it's time to get back to the cutter and press. I have a nice back-log of orders to fill: T-shirts, decals, etched pilsner glasses, and even a onesie. Hopefully a few people will get back with about their shirt sizes before I go on a supply run.

Today is apparently "Cyber Monday." I have no idea what that means. Is that online Black Friday?

Customers Shouldn't Pay for My Mistakes

The birthday shirts were a bust. I made the birthday boy's too big and the replacement did not make it in time for his Party. This is very discouraging. This has prompted me to approach my ordering system and improve it to avoid common mistakes that can make or break a customer's experience. I can't really make a custom order form as Etsy has it's own purchase system in place. I plan to include a Jerzees brand size chart and more explicit instructions with each of my T-shirt listings. Hopefully, I can begin setting myself up for success. My customers already pay in good faith for a quality product. They shouldn't have to pay more for my incompetence.

Geben Danks

Happy Thanksgiving to all! I thought I would take the day off, but I find myself cutting a decal as I type this! I hope everyone enjoys their holiday and spends time with the people who mean the most! I would like to give thanks for the support of my girlfriend lissa8506. She has stood by my side and supported me always. I love you, Melissa.

Sensous Boudoir Laptop Decal

A girl named her black laptop "Lover." Her friend wanted something sensual to grace the its unadorned cover and this is what I came up with. It will look better on the black so hopefully she'll send some pictures of it applied!

Warhammer 4DK Imperial Eagle

Thanks to FreekyE26 over at the DakkaDakka forums, I have given Warhammer fans a venue to display their favorite symbols and heraldry. Games Workshop may bring the hammer down someday, but for now, I'm enjoying the business it's bringing me. This is an Imperial Eagle for someone's laptop.

Skatezilla Helmet Decal

This was made for a girl's Roller Derby helmet. It's good to know that I'm not the only fan of the big G! This was made with glossy silver which will be applied to a black helmet. I hope the customer sends some pictures!

Ninja Bean Dojo Hoodie

Now this was a fun custom job! I don't know what it means but I had a great time designing it! This is the second hoodie I've made. The other was a Tokio Hotel hoodie for my girlfriend's sister. It was black with red vinyl as well. The picture doesn't do it much justice.

Custom Shirt

This was quite a simple shirt that somebody wanted as an inside joke. Thank you to all my Etsy customers!

Trailer Park Boys Bubbles T-shirt

Today I cut my first Bubbles T-shirt! So far Bubbles has been my second highest selling decal amongst all my available designs! I intend to design some more shirts with other characters and favorite quotes! Keep an eye out!

Two No-Shows and One Sick Triceratops

My first official Monday got off to bit of a rough start. Already I have one item damaged in transit, and two shirts that were the wrong sizes. I also got off to a late start as I slept in this morning, one of the perks to being your own boss, but one that shouldn't be taken for granted too much as time is money.

Star Wars Birthday Shirts

A mom over at Etsy.com wanted some shirts for her husband, daughter, and their son for whom they were celebrating a birthday. Being a huge Star Wars fan I had to jump on this opportunity! Plain Toddle Girl shirts are harder to find then I would have thought.

End of Day Scoreboard

Well today did not go as smoothly as I had hoped. I ended up losing a bunch of T-shirt blanks! I needed one of them for an order, too! I couldn't believe it! I set them aside, and my work space is not very large, and now they are just gone! Had to go across town to buy 1 shirt. If I could anticipate everyone's sizes I'd just stock up, but the sizes I have done so far are all over the place. This is one obstacle that I must learn to anticipate in the future!

Aside from the Mystery of the Vanishing T-Shirts, I cut three decals which are ready to ship, sold another, placed several bids on Alchemy, updated my blog, dealt with a shipping mishap, cut and pressed 3 T-shirts which are also ready to ship, and sent an invoice for a custom hoodie.

Today's Score:
Vinyl Edge = 10.5
T-shirt Gnomes = 4

FIrst Official Day

Today I begin my voyage on a sea of vinyl. I have a nice list of stuff to do today. I have some T-shirts to make, some decals to cut, a few mock-ups to design, a mistake to rectify, a blog to update and customize, and a few supplies to buy, and all my completed work to get to the post before 5pm. Whew. Busy first day!

Here begins my journey into the professional world of vinyl arts. I have raised the anchor and now all that lies before me is the distant horizon. T-shirts. Decals. Wall Art. Etched Glass. Self expression. This is Vinyl Edge.
